The Lord has promised good to me.
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
...These words just never get old.
There are many Sundays opening the hymn book and repeating the same words over and over again seem to not be so soul piercing...then there are days when those simple same words you've sung hundreds of times in your life seem to hit a deep something inside that spurs worship.
Thankful for the Christmas season.
